Zwirko
I'm trying to access a test shop on my PC, so far without any luck: I get a "page not available" error. I'm using XAMPP. I don't think there is anything wrong with the settings of my router, firewall etc because I have several other sites within my htdocs folder that I can access from my phone without any problem. It's just Prestashop that has this problem. If I try to access a page directly - such as "http://192.168.1.2/content/6-delivery/" - the address bar of my browser shows "http://localhost//?controller=404" and the "page not available" error. If I try to access some other file like an image - such as "http://192.168.1.2/themes/mytheme/img/test.jpg" my mobile browser displays the image just fine. I didn't have this issue with previous versions of Prestashop. Any ideas as to what is causing my mobile browser to be unable to view Prestashop pages, but able to access other file types? vekia
you should check ps_shop_url table in database, it is configured well? (correct domain, "/" as base uri)
Zwirko
I think so. Looks like this: Should I change "domain" from "localhost" to "/"? Edited April 16, 2013 by Zwirko (see edit history)
vekia
so, as you can see - it is "localhost" it isn't the same as your ip 192.168.1.2 so the conclusion is that: from other computers / phones / tablets it won't work. you have to change localhost to your ip: 192.168.1.2 then you need to regenerate htaccess

vekia
Now , it works! problem was probably related to caching in your shop, or in your browser without clearing cache it's necessary to wait some time
