If you buy the module Login as customer from axelmdp (it's cheap and very good module) you can reorder the same full order, and delete those that are in the first order. I don't think there's a module for doing this automatically. As for not being able to modify some orders, there are some fixes for that. Don't remember what I applied. That's no solution, it will duplicate the order and mess up the stocks.... want was required, is to split the order (the same products) in several ones, keeping the stocks, sales amount, etc...
