Quick Search Block Issue

Hi every one,

 

I have two issues in relation to Quick Search Block.

 

1- we can search some products and some cannot. It seems that it only search the products which are saved in Home. Also, when we type search data in bar, it start to display categories, as well. I think it should display the products name only.

2- In order to correct above, I reset the module. Now another problem started. It moved from its origional position and overlap the website logo.

Hello mate,

i had the same problem today (the search bar moved to the left), didn't find any topic here that could help me so i spent 3 hours digging the files.

 

what you need to do is to go to your theme directiory on the server, then go to:

css/modules/blocksearch/blocksearch.css

edit this file and change the number in line 5:

"left:300px; "

 

for me 300px solved the problem, try to change this value till you'll find the right position for you.
