Upgrade Prestashop From 1.4.7.0 To 1.5.3.1

Hi!

 

I need to upgrade my PS version. I read the manual, and followed all the steps, but with one change. When the process ended, the xml showed me that everything was ok, but all my test store was bugged. Surely I've made something wrong.

 

I'm justing testing, so I copy only the settings.inc.php file. I don't need any backup. My site is showing just the logo. A print: http://i.imgur.com/86UBiO5.png

 

Should I upgrade to the 1.4.9 version first? How can I solve this?

if you have installed 3rd party modules before, have you also copied all those modules?

because when you restore old the database to new one, those modules are installed.

 

also make sure you theme works under the prestashop 1.5.3. (You can try them on clean installation of PrestaShop 1.5x first)

It is not necessary to do that. The upgrade script will apply the upgrade from your old version one by one until the latest version automatically.

I understood. I was trying with new platform, without touch my production site, just to test it. My store is working fine with the 1.4.7.0 version. I'll try to upgrade again, from the beginning.
