PrestaShop JS in admin problem

Recommended Posts

Hi to all.

First of all, good work on PrestaShop. I am thrilled with it.

But, I have problem.

I created shop on my private host, customize it, changed theme, modules, develop some of my own modules... It all worked great.

When I port that on my production server, there were a lot of problems. I solved all of them, but problems with admin i can't solve. It looks like, there is no JS loaded. I can't use half of features, AJAX sources are not loaded, can't dismiss notifications.....

When I tried to install fresh copy of PrestaShop, without my customization, problem remains. On start of installation, all PrestaShop requirements where there.

Just to mention that I am talking about 1.5.2. Fresh copy of 1.5.3. works OK, but I began with 1.5.2., and I don't like to change versions before one stable instance of my product is on production.

I am late in production stage already, so please, help me!!!

What should I do?

It may be your host. They may have permission to run java script turned off. Contact you host and let them know.

Thank you Bill for your answer.

But when I add JS manually, it works. (fix some errors).

So I don't think it is my host. Also, 1.5.3. works OK.

The errors on your picture are about Jquery. Did you check whether there is some problem with that?

Thank you musicmaster for answer. Problem I spot is that none of JS files are loading. If I load some of files on my own, It works.

But it is lot of work to load all jQuery files for all plugins that presta use.

I am looking for global solution that will load all jQuery/JS files on place where they needs to be loaded.

If you look at the source code of a working version and of a not working version can you see any difference? One would expect that the non-working version might have links to the wrong place.

Have you tried to switch off all the CCC optimizations?

BTW. what do you mean with manually loading Javascript files?
