I have tried to install 1.5.3 on two completely different hosting company servers and it fails while populating the database on both. Is there an answer anywhere to this problem? larrywberg Posted February 8, 2013 Author Share Posted February 8, 2013 Well, I grabbed the trunk version of Prestashop yesterday and that got through the install process so something there must have gotten fixed. I then had a problem with ModPagespeed and turned that off with <IfModule pagespeed_module> ModPagespeed off </IfModule> and then I was able to run the site.
