PascalVG
Hi there, Did anyone else notice a problem when updating (one of the sample) products in 1.5.3. I have an almost new 1.5.3 Installation (actually a testshop to help find problems asked in forum ;-) ), when I bumped into this error: An error occurred while updating object. product () Things I did: I edited the iPod Nano item (double clicked on item in list), and added just a space after the description. Then tried to save. After sending info to server, this error appeared. Something wrong in my installation, or genuine bug? Pascal. Probably a space is one of the unaccepted characters highlighted in the back office when you add a new product. Try removing the space after the title description for the iPod Nano and see if you still get the same error.
PascalVG
Hi GoGoMo, The space was just a change in the description to give me the save button Any other change to enable the save button in the end results in the same problem. Anyone's seen this problem too? I'm checking if moving to 1.5.3 is a good idea (at the moment 1.4.6.2 with my oldest site) and this kinds off things scare me a little...
