Homepage slideshow or image rotator

Recommended Posts

Hey San Diego! Again, many thanks for your prompt response.

Unfortunately, the first topic you linked here is referring to the idea of exchanging the static shop logo for a flash one and the second topic contains hints I need but cannot implement properly... I did all that was suggested (I guess) but must have omitted something I can't pinpoint now :-(

If you have a spare time - please take a look, I described my issues there.

Best wishes,
O.

Hi San Diego!

did you name the pictures right

yes, there are only 2 pictures used for test "animation" now: 1.jpg & 2.jpg

and did you put them in the img folder??

I know it might look confusing as these also appear in editorial folder, but yeah - I put them in img folder too, hence I'm surprised the slideshow didn't work...

Moreover, when I embed that flash object in a simple html page - it works! Check it here:

So I think the issue is within the editorial.tpl file!

Would something like the one on my site be of interest to you? It uses Javascript. LMK.

Hey Ion_Cannon,

your website looks nice and I like your both animations - upper banner and the one in featured products! Would you be so generous and share the idea?
Instructions on how to implement it would be highly appreciated :wow:

Kind regards,
Octahedron

You should put the 1.jpg and 2.jpg under the img folder of your site ie..www.yoursite.com/img and not to create img folder in the modules/editorial folder.

hope this helps.
