Payment methods and product price

Hi All,

 

First post on the forums, and its a topic that is causing me some headaches!

 

We have a webshop that has a mix of high value products and some far less expensive items. For the high value items, we want to only accept payment via bank wire/transfer, but for the lower value items we would like to accept payment via other methods (PayPal or credit card for example).

 

Is it possible to set up the payment methods to ensure that the high value items are only paid for by bank transfer, and the lower value items can be paid for via other methods?

it would require custom code for each payment module. It is also possible to customize the code where the payment modules are selected (by country restriction)....
