kcarring
I see I found another bug. Sometimes, after fooling around, a PAYPAL graphical icon appears and, essentially, allows you to directly check out with paypal, where-in you are allowed to purchase the product for the listed price, no tax or shipping calculations!!!! OUCH... It's odd though. I have managed to get it to happen 3 or 4 times, but it does not ALWAYS happen, and I haven't figured out how to replicate the effect. The "button" is that, a graphic, allowing you to click straight through from the product description, directly to paypal, bypassing all checkout procedures. I have both UPS and PAYPAL modules installed and active. -update- OK, this is how I replicate the effect. In Chrome, I: 1. Clear all my browsing cache completely. 2. Go to the website: http://www.solarpanelsbc.com 3. Click on Solar Panels in top left corner 4. Click on the Text title of the 140 Watt panel to load that product page ( http://www.solarpane...olar-panel.html ) On my screen, there is a PAYPAL button allowing me to check out with PAYPAL directly! Is this a bug, or just how I have it set?! It avoids all tax, shipping everything (or so it would appear... I can't actually continue, I only have one PAYPAL account, so I cannot "pay myself") Odd. [sOLVED] I think, see below Edited January 7, 2013 by kcarring (see edit history)

WOW this software is bad looks like another problem at the forum (no solution there...) http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/207223-a-minimum-purchase-total-of-0-is-required-in-order-to-validate-your-order/page__hl__paypal__fromsearch__1
kcarring
OK... I don't think this is so much a "bug" as it is strange. When you go into the actual PAYPAL module, you'll see: Express Checkout shortcut Offer your customers a 3-click checkout experience Yes I had it checked as "Yes" and switched to "No" it seems it may have solved this, but I am not totally sure, as this "effect" did not always seem to appear... in the first place (it seemed to be "occasional")
