Remove Paypal button

Hi everyone,

 

I'm using Prestashop 1.4.9.0 with Paypal v3.3.

 

Instead of "module enabled" next to the Install/Uninstall button in modules I'm getting a triangle with a prompt character what says "module installes but with warnings".

But paying with Paypal express checkout works despite the error message.

 

 

My problem is now that the "Check out with Paypal"-button is on each product article page.

Even on those sites where you can't buy articles because they aren't available.

 

Does anyone know how to remove the "Check out with Paypal"-button on these sites?

 

When clicking on the "Check out with Paypal"-button on the sites without availabilty I'm jets getting the two words "ERROR OCCURED:".

That's it without any other detail. But the error makes sense because the article isn't available.

You must go to the modules section, next open positions feature and delete paypal module from product page, you're looking for positions like "extra right" / "extra left" / "product footer"

That's a good option if you want to remove the PayPal button on every product site.

It works really good and you can type in just some product sites.

 

But isn't there a way to remove the PayPal button just on the sites where no articles is available?

I want to keep the button on all product sites but only not on these where I can't buy anything because of the Quantity 0.

Sure, but you must make a little changes in .tpl files of paypal module, do you know something about template editing?

I think I could modify the template. I would know some basics, but I'm not a pro.

Do you know what I would have to change and modify in the PayPal module?
