Did not log my changes, now hesitating to update to 1.5.3

Big mistake,,, I never logged the changes I made to my stock prestashop 1.5.

 

Is there a way I can update to 15.3 and keep the changes I made the my instal?

No. Only if the changes are put in the override directory, they will not be touched. Or made to your theme, (if you are not using the default theme) will not be touched.

 

You could download a copy of your web site and a copy of 1.5.3

 

Then use a file compare program. I recommend Winmerg - http://winmerge.org/

 

It can scan many files at once, but because 1.5.3 will have MANY modified files, you should only compare files you think you may have modified. It will clearly show you the differences and changes made to any file compared to the latest version.

It might be easier to compare with a new install of the old PS version.
