sbriggs Posted December 7, 2012 Share Posted December 7, 2012 Hello, I’m new to the PrestaShop Forum. Hope I can find some direction to my objective. My [spam-filter] and I have recently taken over the family antiques store. We have a physical location but we understand how important a web presence is. I came across PrestaShop via the TechRepublic web site. PrestaShop seems like the type of product I’ve been looking for but I’m still a little lost. I need to make sure we have a secure site for online purchases but I can’t tell if PrestaShop really offers the security needed. It talks about integrating with PayPal and others so I don’t know if I need to include SSL when we purchase a hosting plan. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated. Dh42 Posted December 7, 2012 Share Posted December 7, 2012 I would also recommend using an ssl certificate with any site that collects customer information.
