Combinations - Impact on Unit Price - Reduction Functioning?

Recommended Posts

I've found some evidence that the Reduction per Unit price option in the Combinations editor is NOT working properly in 1.5.2 - but that the bug has been fixed in the SVN version? - or something to that regard?

Can anybody help us to get this functioning in our current install? We need it to communicate with customers the price of one of our products per oz. So that they can see how the price per ounce reduces as they buy more.

Thank You.

Price reduction combination not working is occur when you have more than 2 combinations in 1 product.

The solution is easy:

  1. after you have created all of your combinations for your product
  2. then in combinations tab in your product, click Product combinations generator, dialog box will ask u if you want to delete information you entered, just clik ok
  3. then in the attribute combinations generator, click generate button.
  4. it's DONE :)

it also work for Prestashop 1.4.xx

That may be an "easy" solution for any manageable number for products but what about those with thousands?! I am in this situation at the moment. Sounds like a schoolboy error from prestashop!!

EDIT: It also doesn't save any reductions.
