How to add text area sticking to homeslider bottom?

Hi,

How to add text area sticking to homeslider bottom - 50 x 500px

(Please review attached file)

 

I suppose that I should edit layout here: homeslider.tpl? and add a "div" or "p"?

and style that here: global.css?

[Above are just suppositions of a total newbie]

 

Can somebody help with the code, please?

You can't, because this text should be associated with ID to the slide, which require adding functions to homeslider.

What I want to do is a simple thing: text not being associated to each slide. I do not want either to build any module that adds this feature to the back office.

 

I just would like to add a line of code to (?).tpl file to have a simple area when I'll have my text.

I think this is possible as changing the default layout must be possible (and probably this is not so hard for anybody who know the code well - I do not know coding so for me it is like magic)
