prestashop running but i get errors!

Hi,

 

i am running prestashop rc1, still to update, i am scared i might get into other problems yet.

 

While the shop works, when i click on a product to go to its description, below the descriptions it outputs:

I am not sure what it is. Searching the forum i saw that in another post, giving writting permissions to the tools/smarty/compile folder solved such a problem (which i ran into as well) solved a similar case but i am not sure what to do right now. The server is windows based but up till now i had no other problem.

 

Would updating to rc2 actually benefit, or should i best wait for the final?

Hi geodeath,

 

Have you upgraded to RC3 yet?  We strongly recommend doing so, as many bugs have been fixed since RC1.

 

Give it a try (follow Upgrade instructions here) and let us know if you still get the same errors.
