Guest tracking of orders not working in 1.4.9.0

Hi everyone,

 

since upgrading to 1.4.9.0. guest tracking is no longer working on our website, whenever a customer tries to track his order, the page just reloads and all the fields are blank again - basically the page simply refreshes without displaying any tracking information.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this issue, and if yes, is there a solution?

 

I posted this in the bug tracker at forge a month ago, but there has not been any reply from the devs yet, so I was hoping the community can help.

 

I am considering getting rid of guest checkout altogether, but I don't want to be forced to do so by a bug in the software.
