musicmaster Posted October 25, 2012 Share Posted October 25, 2012 (edited) I updated a copy of my shop to 1.5.2. Now I uploaded it (database and files) to a new server. Problem is that I can't login there to my PS admin. It recognizes my name and password (unlike other combinations they don't give error an error message) but somehow it is redirecting me to the login page. Does anyone recognizes this? musicmaster Posted October 25, 2012 Author Share Posted October 25, 2012 First result of some analysis shows that the login is a incredibly complicated process Using Ajax and the login.js file. It makes adding debug code very difficult and throws "TECHNICAL ERROR: Details: Error thrown: [object Object] Text status: parsererror" at the drop of a hat. musicmaster Posted October 25, 2012 Author Share Posted October 25, 2012 I solved it by changing the shopdomain and subdirectory in the database. It puzzles me why the changes in the settings files are not picked up by PS 1.5.2. In 1.4 changing the settingsfile was enough. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
