I asked what the difference between PayPal Payments Advanced and Payments Pro was. She told me that PayPal Payments Advanced utilizes an iframe. So it looks more seamless with your web site, but the iframe is pulling content from/connecting to PayPal. Thus you don't have to worry about PCI compliance: that's PayPal's job.
