Product images dont upload

Hello.

Is almost 2 weeks since i did not added new products on my shop.

Today i decided to add some noew ones and i followed the regular procedure. I created a product but when i try to add images to product i select image, i press save and stay , i get the message Update succesful but image is not uploaded. On images tab is still 0 and the image dont appear on my shop too.

I was trying to add images to older products but is same problem. If i try to delete images from older products i can succesfully do it. Is not a problem about image size or characteristics because i was trying to add images that i succesfully uploaded to my shop in past and still not working.

I checked the prmisions to img folder and is curently set to 0755.Also 0755 is to all folders in root of website. I temporarly changed permisions to 0777 but still not working.

turn on displaing errors (you must edit config file in php) and try to catch error

i am not so advanced...i manage myself the shop at the moment but i have only basic knowledge about online shops.

What is the name of file i should modify? what modifications i must do?

edit file: config/config.inc.php and change line 29. you will find there something similar to:

 

@ini_set('display_errors', 'off');

 

change it for:

 

 

@ini_set('display_errors', '1');
@ini_set('error_reporting', E_ALL);

 

 

Next try to upload product images and you will see errors (if occured)

i did exaclty like you said. When i tryed to upload photo was like before...Update success but no photo updated and no error on update screen. The error should appear on images page in back office right?

Notices shouldn't affect in uploading process.

Are you sure that errors and notices you pasted here were created exactly during you try to upload photos? It's important, maybe these errors and notices may relate to something else

Was some restricted access for hosting provider.

I contacted them and they solved the problem fast.

i really dont know what hosting provider did. just tell them about thiis problem and maybe they will know what to do.

I just told to host privider about this problem and in 5 minutes they contacted me back and told me that problem was something about some fieles witch had restricted rights for writing.
