amanuensis
Hi I didn't get an answer to my question first time around, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask either. As I can't wait any longer for the release of 1.5, I have had to install the latest version. When 1.5 is finally released is it going to be easy for me to upgrade from the latest version I have installed now? I have a number of clients in the pipeline for PS and I don't want to load myself with any overly burdensome upgrading procedure. The only thing certain about PS is that it will continue to be upgraded, I hope this painfully laborious procedure has been attended to in the new 1.5 Any help with this question will be welcomed with open arms. Thank you
Evanion
Well, with the 1-click installer its a pritty good bet that they will make the upgrade seamless. If 1.5 was still in beta I would say that there might be problems. But an RC is generally considered good enough to go stable, but is designated RC just as a last round of tests to weed out any lingering bugs. The APIs and functions shouldn't change much from RC to Stable, making an upgrade a fairly simple issue.

Dh42
I would say no it is not going to be easy to upgrade. I cannot see everything working correctly without being a real pain.
Suthichai
I keep getting something like [Technical Error - Javascript]. Finally gave up and have to reinstall, will probably try to upgrade again when I have time.

Jeffrey S
Dear all, Same experience here too try using 1-click upgrade ! error '[TECHNICAL ERROR - JAVASCRIPT] Erreur détectée pour l'action"upgradeDb".Début de la restauration ..' Already try 1) turn off all Cache, try 2 ) upgrade from 1.4.5 / 1.4.8 / 1.4.9 Many factor have tried, all result the same! I guess if there is no option, but to do it manually ? Much in pain, as well as excitement for the 1.5 age ! haray
MEG Venture
Although I am getting this error, I see that my website is upgraded correctly at the end. I can't find any errors except my third-party modules that are still remained deactivated. I enabled them manually and upgrade is done.
