Order slip and invoice not updating

My client used to use the delivery slip as a packing slip

 

So, when an order was placed he would set to "preparation in progress" and print the delivery slip

 

He would then go to the warehouse and pack all the parts for postage

 

If it was discovered that a part was out of stock he would contact the customer and give them a voucher from the order page of the bo

 

at this stage the delivery slip would be updated to reflect the fact that the out of stock item was no longer part of the order

 

Unfortunately, since upgrading this is no longer possible

 

It seems the the order slip will no longer update its self, nor will the invoice!

 

Why is this?

 

we upgraded the client from 1.2.5 to 1.4.8.2, he is disappointed as he feels he has lost some function... how can I give him this functionality back

He doesnt use stock management

there may also be other reasons the delivery slip would need to be updated too ...

 

 

one way or another, the system allows for changes to an order to be made but these changes are not reflected in the delivery slip or invoice
