nuwanda
I find that emails to customers about their orders are taking quite some time to come through. Is there some setting that controls this? The delay seems to be about an hour.
bellini13
prestashop delivers the mail immediately, there is no internal queue within the prestashop software. the delay is likely the SMTP server you are using, you should explore this with your hosting company. bellini13
what payment methods are you using? when an order is created what status is the order being placed into? the order emails are sent in between the "confirm" button during checkout, and the confirmation page. so if you are seeing the confirmation page, then the email is being sent. there are no subsequent prestashop processes running that would trigger the email, unless you are using a customized store
