icyhot
I am trying to get rid of unnecessary filters there. such as "Conditions" and "Manufacturer." The reason Is that all my products are new and they are my brand. How can I remove those unnecessary fields? Any idea?
Mike Kranzler
Hi icyhot, Do you want to remove those filters from the module completely, or just not have them show up on your site? You can very easily configure the Layered Navigation to never display Conditions or Manufacturer through the Back Office, but removing them completely will require some changes to the code. -Mike

I went to the back office to configure that module, but there is no such options. How would you hide them? Mike Kranzler
Thanks for your help. I went to the back office to configure that module, but there is no such options. How would you hide them? What do you mean when you say there are no options? There should be checkboxes to select which options should be displayed in the Layered Navigation. Could you please post a screenshot of what you're seeing? -Mike

Mike Kranzler
You actually haven't fully configured the Layered Navigation module just yet. Under "Build your own filters template," just select one of the options (either one works, it just depends on how you want it displayed on your site), and some new options will pop up, giving you choices of which filters you would like to have displayed. I hope this helps. -Mike

lankitha
HI, im new to prestashop. i want to move Layered Navigation Block near the compare button in catogories page. how can i do this?
Mike Kranzler
Hi lankitha, You can move various modules around through your Back Office under Modules > Positions > Live Edit. However, please note that not every module can be transplanted to every hook. When moving modules around, you'll notice that some areas turn green while others turn red. Any area that turns red, you cannot transplant that module to that location. I hope this helps. -Mike
