separate checkouts dependent upon country?

Is it possible to seamlessly have two separate check out options dependent upon where the shipment will be sent?

Eg: I have one website, two locations (Canada and the US)

If the shopper is american (or international), they will be funneled into one checkout that will have my authorize.net/merchant account/banking located in the US.

If the shopper is canadian, they will be funneled to an entirely different page with interac, my canadian merchant processing, canadian bank acct.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

tsr, this is handled here,

Back Office > Payment

But to do what you need to do you must first create a Canada Zone.

The default setup has Canada as part of the North America Zone. You can see that here,

Back Office > Shipping > Countries

Look for Canada and you will see it is assigned to North America.

First thing is to go to,

Back Office > Shipping > Zones

Add a new Zone called Canada

Later on you'll do this again when you begin to set up tax for GST and HST, but that is for another thread. <_<

After you have created your Canada Zone, go to

Back Office > Shipping > Countries

Change Canada Zone from North America TO Canada.

Important: You will need to change all the Canadian provinces and territories as well, but for now just change the non-HST provinces, because you will need to setup separate zones for the different HST areas down the road, so you may as well wait until to you set up taxes.

Back Office > Shipping > States

Once the above is done, and your payment modules are installed, go back to,

Back Office > Payment

And you'll be able to select the Zone for each payment module.

This was very helpful, thank you for this Bill!

For almost 3 years, I have been using and been very unhappy with my pay-per-month ecart program.

I require a complete overhaul with an ecommerce solution that actually works for all of my needs. This was my greatest worry, and if I am able to do this part of it without my front end user jumping through hoops, it will be great.
