_stardust_
Hi, Just curious about how the Bug Tracker works. More specifically what is the process after the bug is fixed? Does the downloadable version 1.x.x get updated or do you just have to encounter the bug and discover the fix? Sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm just a bit confused. Thanks! Mike Kranzler
Hi stardust, When a big is submitted to the Forge and confirmed by our development team (which involves testing that specific configuration or process on a brand-new, clean installation), they begin working on the fix. Once the fix is finished, it is set to "Pending Verification" until it can be further reviewed by other members of the PrestaShop team to confirm that this does, in fact, fix the issue. At that point, the changed files are uploaded to the "Source" tab of that report and committed to our SVN, which is where we store the very latest version of every single file. Once a new version is released, those changed files in the SVN are used to update the software and thus remove the bug from future installations. I hope this explains things for you. -Mike
_stardust_
How about this one... I haven't discovered the bug in my current version yet but it's been fixed in the SVN. Is there a notification about the fix or do I need to keep tabs on the latest fixes? If so how? Thanks again.

The best thing to do is to stay updated on all the latest releases, or at least keep an eye on our changelog each time a new release is announced so that you know if there is anything you will want to update. -Mike
