Basic module for flash player widget

I am looking for barebone module for inserting flash player widget in prestashop left or right column, (or header, home, footer) Or any other flash widget like calendar, clock. The player is completely independent and is not linked with any Prestashop functions or code, does not require any configuration or user interaction via admin backend, so player widget just need be inserted into a webpage in the right place, and module purpose is only properly install / uninstall code. Installation should just provide installation player into the one of the following areas: left Column, right Column, header, home, footer. I searched for detailed manual how to create such barebone module, but didn't find yet.

Also, where should be added <object> code inside the module, into the tpl file or html page? Some widgets include javascripts and css files: where should be added this files: into tpl file or html file?

I am not interested in any sort of paid modules, as this is very simple module.

you simply can replace the swf for your own, and delete the functions that you dont need. Its only to take an idea

Thanks for tips, I will try this. However, this blockcuber module is much more complex and it contains multiple configuration settings. Can you show blockcuber.php modified example?
