[SOLVED] Horizontal Category background modification

Hello,

 

I wish to make green background at category. Main category have green color background & wish to use same to subcategory menu.

Just to make sure I understand you correctly, do you want to make that entire dropdown menu have a green background, or just the General Health part that is on the menu bar?

Hi Vilas,

In line 6 of your global.css file, just replace

#f9f9f9 url(../img/bg.gif)

 

with the hex code of the specific color you would like, and that will change it for the main background.

 

However, all the individual modules would still have a white background in that situation, so you would need to change the code in each of those as well.

I think you not understood my query. Actually I was trying to put green background to only product main category and sub category. I have tried to modify the "superfish-modified.css' I have changed some codes & now I got solution for my query. Please find attached image for reference.

That's what I originally thought, but when I asked for clarification, you responded with the following:

Sorry for my bad English....Thanks for kind support. Actually I have one more doubt. When we click on product category using navigation bar it will show url like

 

www.xyz.com/2-abc

 

whereas when I open product which is under that category then

 

www.xyz.com/abc/2-opq

 

that means the category number will not be shown when we open any product which is listed under category.

 

Please suggest why is this happening?

Hi Vilas,

Due to the rules of the PrestaShop forums, please only post one issue per thread. As for the menu issue, the color of that dropdown menu is generated from your site's /img/bg_blocktopmenu_li_hover.png file. You will want to work with that in order to change the color for your site.
