Angela Barbi
In my online shop there is always an error whenever a customer buys our service online, no delivery of goods. There's invariably an error message sent to customer, so he tries paying again and again until sometimes their payment goes through 3 times! With the consequent problems to take the payment back, etc, and the confusing messages. How can that be fixed?? Please help! Another problem previously was an error with the carrier which wouldn't allow the shopping process to continue. Many thanks to those who can help with this serious issue with the online shop. tomerg3
It's impossible to help based on the information you provided. 1) What version of PS are you using? 2) What payment module is used? 3) What is the error? 4) Do you get it with other payment methods (IE COD)?
Angela Barbi
Thanks SO MUCH for replying. I'll try to answer: 1- PS version is 1.4.5.1 2- Payment module is with LaCaixa v 0.1, that's my Spanish bank, credit cards only. 3- the error is: Warning: 0,00 € paid instead of 999,00 € ! Products 999,00 € Shipping 0,00 € Total 999,00 € (Paid: 0,00 €) This info is not correct as the payment has been accepted by my bank and the money taken from the customer's card. 4- I don't know about that payment method but I only use La Caixa. I have screenshots if necessary. Thanks again! Angela
tomerg3
It sounds like a a bug with the payment module. To be 100% sure, you can try installing another payment module and test. If it works, then the problem is definitely with your payment module, and you should contact whoever made it and ask for support. If it doesn't work, the problem is somewhere in Prestashop.

Angela Barbi
Yes, thanks. but I know the payment module works ok (or think so at least!) It's only started to give these error messages recently. My webmaster is no longer here so I am quite lost honestly. To me it seems a problem with PS
tomerg3
the only way to be sure is to try what I suggested...
Angela Barbi
well, you're probably right, but my problem is I don't know how to do that So I'll have to find an expert because I haven't got a clue! And now all payments are coming. webmasters in Spain don't seem to know very well how PS works. Any ideas?
tomerg3
Do you mean you tested it with other payment modules and it was working fine, or your are not sure how to test?
Angela Barbi
I'm not sure how to configure the shop so that then nothing works any more... I haven't tested, no. I know that in the beginning when setting the site up, installing the payment module was not so easy
tomerg3
I sounds like you may be a bit over your head. I suggest you find a developer (in Spain or outside) that would help you with this issue. You can try posting in Jobs & Offers section.
Angela Barbi
Thanks again Tomerg3, I had to find a developper as you suggested, he seems to have identified the problem. I'd never have got there on my own
tomerg3
Glad to hear. Too many people try to do it themselves, and then get frustrated when things break. It's similar to a car, if you have issues, you take it to a mechanic, unless you really konw what you're doing. Good luck with the shop...
