dixie Posted March 27, 2012 Share Posted March 27, 2012 I think something is wrong with my add to cart code. When I click on the add to cart button, there is no action telling me that the item has been added, unless I look at my cart. I noticed that on other PS websites, a moving motion of the product being added to the cart area is displayed. That is not happening on my website. Mike Kranzler Posted March 27, 2012 Share Posted March 27, 2012 Hi dixie, In the Modules section of your Back Office, please click on Configure for the Cart Block (under Front Office Features). dixie Posted March 27, 2012 Author Share Posted March 27, 2012 My setting there (BO,module,cart,configure,ajax cart,active) is already set to active. Can you please tell me what else I can check or fix? I should have mentioned that I am using PS1.4.7 with the new theme. The "old theme" cart is inactive. dixie Posted March 28, 2012 Author Share Posted March 28, 2012 The only files that I changed were the css files. I tried the new theme without my css changes and, yes, the cart worked. What files make the shopping cart work. If I know what files to check, I can compare the files to see what is different. The only code that was changed was the fix for SSL bug in 1.4.7. and I commented out some areas on the registration form. But as far as the cart, I only changed the color background. I added 2 modules from PrestoChangeo for accessories and category discounts. Not being a pro at this, I worked very hard to get my them where it is ---- does this mean I have to start allover again? If the cart works fine after switching, it's an issue with your custom theme, but if it still doesn't there may be other causes to investigate.
