prestaaa
I get these search engine results from google when I search my site. booksonwaraustralia.com/en/cart?qty=1&id_product=19. which if clicked opens up the cart with the product/book being created How can this be fixed?? I'm new at this and I did not have the robots.txt file in place at the time of submiting - is this something robots.txt will stop. If so how long before they the entries clear from google? Prescol
You can add to the links to cart the attr. rel="no-follow"
tomerg3
I believe that once google has the URL, the only way to get it to stop crawling that URL is with a 301 redirect. I've seen sites with a robot.txt file in place, yet search engines keep crawling it, even if not indexing it. Have a look at http://www.prestashop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/39736-module-duplicate-url-redirect-redirect-all-duplicate-and-non-seo-friendly-urls-to-the-default-friendly-url/ it will do a 301 redirect for cart.php, but only for Search Engines, which should get it off of the google listing the quickest.
