xerath1
Hi Guys, Using prestashop 1.4.5.1 For some reason when you checkout, you get to the "authentication.php" part and when you login nothing happens... you just get posted back to the same page with no change. Making a new account seems to work fine, but then you are sent back to this login part with the same result. Is this a known fault? Thanks and regards URL : lynchandsets.graspdigital.com/authentication.php
xerath1
Just a quick additional note... I used FireBug to check and my browser IS posting correctly... however the response from authentication.php is just the login page no matter what
doekia
URL : lynchandsets.graspdigital.com/authentication.php Is this your top domain? Control you subdomain cookie settings and your canonical url Firebug shows cookie does not relate to the same domain Best, (d)oekia
Carl Favre
Hello xerath1, Maybe some redirection problems ? Have you checked ? Also, do you have the same problem with the basic default PrestaShop theme ?
DRossell
I have this, or very similar, problem. prestashop version 1.4.1.0 last friday I could login without any trouble at the backoffice (I was adding new products) and today I found myself redirected endlessly to the login page. after some tests and troubles I found I can login using IE8 but not using Chrome. on other websites I can login fine with Chrome so it doesn't seems to be a bug at the browser. what most puzzles me is that I haven't changed anything during the weekend. not the browser, not the prestashop version. Carl Favre
Hi DRossell, Have you tried to clear your browser cache/cookies ?
xerath1
it's a development domain... will check that doekia thanks
xerath1
Doekia, are you able to provide any more info for me? I can't see where or how the cookie is different... not quite sure how to approach this problem although I agree it would explain the behaviour if the cookie was assigning to the wrong domain thanks
