Upgrade Issues from 1.4.4.1 -> 1.4.5.1

Recommended Posts

Specs: I have ver: 1.4.4.1

Server: Dedicated box.

I attempted to install the autoupgrade mod.. but it says "The following module(s) were not installed successfully: autoupgrade"

I tried to use the built in upgrader, but it says

"Last version is ()

Your current configuration does not allow upgrade."

For some reason my home page says "you need to activate the allow_url_fopen command in your php.ini"

However, I updated in my php.ini and then restarted the server.

allow_url_fopen = On

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Personally, I don't like using the built-in module installer (if that is what you used to install the module) because it allows my server to take ownership of files/folders. This then requires additional steps to change ownership and permissions that cannot be done using FTP which is a royal pain.

I upload the module via FTP, set the correct permissions and then install the module in the BO. Quick and easy.

I was trying to install the autoupgrade module posted in the other area of this forum.. the BO will not allow me to install it as it gives me the error

"it says "The following module(s) were not installed successfully: autoupgrade""

and at the same time, the builtin upgrader does not work either as it gives the error

"Last version is ()

Your current configuration does not allow upgrade."

Any ideas?
