Carolina Custom Designs
You can only load a .jpg image through the BO. Even if you upload a .png it will convert it a .jpg image. To use a .png image will require a little work in the header.tpl and manual upload of the image. I do it all the time for clients. Hope that helps! Carolina Custom Designs
You need to change the logo src in your header.tpl. You will probably need to adjust the styling in your global.css too. Hope that helps! Marty Shue

Carolina Custom Designs
That is exactly what I was talking about doing in the post above yours. I'm glad you 'found an easy way' to do it. Marty Shue

Carolina Custom Designs
I thought you needed to upload a custom .png. All you did is what everyone else does through the BO Your OP said you wanted to upload a .png with a transparent bg. That is what I was trying to help you do. You simply uploaded a .jpg. Glad you got it nonetheless!! Marty Shue
