firescorpz Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 Hi I need some advice, I am using Prestashop 1.4.1.0 and I am using prestashop for my Sport Nutrition web store. Here what I need help with. When you go to my website at the main page, you can see different brand of products I am carrying. For example - Optimum Nutrition - 100% Whey Gold Standard - 100% Whey Gold Standard 5lbs When you click on 100% Whey Gold Standard 5lbs, you will go to the page which show all the flavors my supplement is carrying. You would have notices that I have created a picture for each flavors. So is there a way that I can use only 1 picture but there is a drop down manual for my customer to choose the flavors? I believe that you need to have one product called 100% Whey Gold Standard 5lbs with added attributes which will be the flavor. Or even have one product 100% Whey Gold Standard and have attributes for the wight(5 or 10lbs) and the flavor. (is that what youre asking for ?) also, I suggest you to buy a theme, or at least update to latest version of prestashop and use the new default theme. Another good thing to do is to place a slider, or at least a graphic on the homepage. That wall of text is not what customers expect to see at home page. That is what I am looking for. My product 100% Whey Gold Standard 5lbs got different flavor (but the bottle look similar) so I need just one picture with the added attributes for flavors. Snade Posted October 20, 2011 Share Posted October 20, 2011 Well, I'm surprised that you have 2 live shops, 120 post in the prestashop forum and don't know about one of the main prestashop catalog functions. firescorpz Posted November 2, 2011 Author Share Posted November 2, 2011 Hi guys, I manage to add the attribute and group from the advice I receive here, thank you guys. Here I have another problem. As my store is selling supplement for sports an item itself can have a few flavors. By adding the attribute and group, I manage to get the flavor from a pull down manual. However the supplemental fact remain as the main product supplemental facts. Is there a way to change the supplemental fact too when the flavor change? Please see my bodybuilding site, thank you.
