Paypal Standard broken after upgrade

Hi,

 

We recently upgraded to 1.4.3 I have just noticed the ipn has broken - we arn't getting order notifications and the prestashop isn't being notified of the sale in the BO.

 

On downloading the latest prestashop, i see the paypal module has completely changed. I had used the old paypal module (pronbably from 1.3 or something)

 

I have uploaded this new module to my server.

 

But ipn still isn't working. How do i debug this?

 

I have ipn enabled with the url set to http://www.thehappiempire.com/modules/paypal/validation.php

 

I really don't want to upgrade prestashop again if possible, its just a complete nightmare to do.
