Cyrille de Lambert
Hello, I inform you of our painful experience for stats analytics ecommerce with Prestashop. For sites of my clients, products related to transactions (order number Prestashop) analytics are systematically different from those ordered on Prestashop. Who has had this problem? And a solution? Thank you in advance Regard Cyrille
Mike Kranzler
Hi Cyrille, In order to get help on this, please provide us with more information. What version of PrestaShop? What modules are you using? What is the URL? etc. Without this information, there really isn't much advice we can offer sight unseen. -Mike

Mike Kranzler
Hi Cyrille, Thanks for your response. However, I'm not seeing a Google Analytics by PrestaShop module in our Addons Store. Can you please provide me with a direct link to the exact module you have? -Mike

prestacad
I have the same problem, google analytic included in Prestashop and Prestashop stats don't match. I had one day Prestashop showing 81 visits but in Google only 5. Probably a bug in Prestashop 1.4.4.1. There are quite a few bugs in Prestashop. There's another in CMS. That's why Prestashop is free, it comes with bugs and who knows when they're going to be fixed.
Mike Kranzler
Hi everybody, I spoke with our developers, and it appears that you are likely seeing this difference because Google Analytics does not factor in orders placed via PayPal. If you speak French or are handy with Google Translate, you can see a great discussion on this here, along with some additional suggestions. Please let me know if you have issues beyond this, and I will try to investigate any code changes you may want to try. -Mike
prestacad
I don't think that's the problem because the example I gave : I had one day Prestashop showing 81 visits but in Google only 5. And another day when Prestashop showed 31 while Google only 6. There were no orders placed by Paypal. This is one of the bugs with Prestashop. I'll just mention another bug. When you add a new product and enter the name sometimes it doesn't add the friendly url. When that happens, if you press save, it will erases the quantity on stock and put a check mark on all the categories. Not a big problem but it's annoying. There's also another bug when adding a CMS, it's already mentioned in the forums.
