Error when logging into back end mydomain/adminxx

Hello,

This is the page "404 Not Found" I get when I try to loggin into the back end. Prestashop v 1.4.4.1

I followed the installation instructions exactly. Did a complete uninstall and drop tables and re-installed fresh, several times. The Front End is OK. I can access the database. I have been in contact with ISP and they say everything seems OK on their side. They did question the "3" directory. I am not sure where the "3" comes from or what to do to correct the problem.
