Problem with thumbnails image product

Recommended Posts

Hallo everybody!

I'm building an on-line shop in which there are lots of colors available for each item, and the client wants all of them to be shown by color.

The problem is the following: when I open the page for the first time to see the product, I see all the pictures of the object in all its colorful versions, even if in the "select" menu nearby a specific color is selected (for example "black").

Then, when I select again a color, only the right photos with that color are showed.

I'm wondering if there's a way to set it up so that I can put by default a color and opening

the page only the photos with that color are shown (not all of them - they're more than 40!)

I tried to find a solution in BO but I couldn't find anything.

Is there anyone who can help me to solve this problem???

Regards

He add to product 40 images, also he have for example 10 combinations, when he first time come on product page he see all 40 images but if he select other color or size, all images disappear and stay only one default product image and link "view all images". It's old bug, I have problem with it too long time. You can test on any product that have over 1 combination here: http://bikinimal (sorry my site on Russian).

Hi Mike, thanks for your quick reply.

This is the link where you can see the problem.

http://www.fandangoitalia.com/shop/lang-en/11-custodia-semplice.html

As you can see all the photos appear in the same page they're not organized by color, until you click on the color menu.

The only availble color at the moment is black, white and red ones are not available.

I just want to put by default a color so that just that color appears when someone opens the page.

Regards

The version of Prestashop is 1.3.7.0 but the theme used is not compatible with version 1.4. (for this reason I haven't updated to the latest version Prestashop.

My htaccess and thumbnails have just been regenerated, but the problem persists...

I see, thanks for the demo. Have you reported this through our bug tracker yet?

Nope I don't report about this.

I would recommend you do that through our Bug Tracker, because that's the best way to get it directly to the developers who handle these sorts of issues. And when you do submit it, please provide a link to your report here so that I can monitor it for you!
