module design for a tyres shopping

Hi! We have installed the last version of Prestaship 1.4.4.1

 

We found that the built-in module called "layered navigation filter" is very crappy and full of bugs.

 

We need a simple module that can be installed on the top part of the website, and can do a filter search based on products attributes. Not a real time filtering, but a classic "search" button

 

An example could be this one:

The part we are interested into is only "Search by Tyres Size", with a drop-down selector.

It can be hooked on the sides or the center, and in the latest version it can also filter on the homepage.

Hi Tomerg! It seems it's what I am looking for...Can be easily styled to reach a result like this http://www.kwik-fit....tyre-search.asp ? I am very interested in drop-down selector, as the shop is a tyres shop and has lots of attributes to choose from.

The module can use drop downs for filtering, it does not have a textbox search option (it may be added later).

 

As for the styling, the module uses a standard tpl file and a CSS file, I don't know your level, so I can't say if it will be "easy" or not.
