dotbeta Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 I have a store with the 1.4.1 installation I believe and it just randomly went down today. My host, Host Gator, is looking into it no. No changes have been made to the site at all and it just randomly went down. I don't see an .htaccess file in the shop directory, is there somewhere else I should look for it to see if that is the issue? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tobes Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 I think you've suffered from the code injection attack that seems to have hit a lot of shops today. See the "Footer.tpl vulnerability?" thread in this forum for more information. In my case I had to restore a lot of the files on the live server from my development system, as the attack had messed around with permissions of parts of the shop, in particular the Smarty libraries and the modules directory. shokinro Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 there seems a hacker attack on prestashop.com server, and then use this server to attack other prestashop store, if you are using 1.4x, you maybe affected. please check this thread to see if it helps.
