Today received first overseas order – with little (but costly) surprise – no shipping was charged and error is in prestashop – not payment provider. Error in my shop is: When customer selects not default carriers correct price is shown, but if customer refreshes page or goes for more products shipping fee is set to “free” and is presented as default carrier. Is not happening like this with default carrier - its working perfectly. I have not set any free shipping for any carrier. I have price and weight settings set for each. Default carrier is for United Kingdom and was set as separate zone United Kingdom. No carrier is priced 0. No free shipping settings modified. No vouchers issued for free shipping. No code modified in shipping related files. Prestashop 1.4.0.17 Order process type in BO is set to one page checkout. shokinro Posted August 24, 2011 Share Posted August 24, 2011 One of my client had very similiar symptom with shipping calculation when he upgrde his store from 1.3x to 1.4x. I just remember what i was playing with shipping options in this shop, but i have deleted all test carriers correctly in BO. Could it be some traces of test carriers are interfering with my carriers today(in data base or .....) - I suppose its stupid question ,but i could not stop myself to ask it. aivars Posted August 24, 2011 Author Share Posted August 24, 2011 I have found “temporary” solution – I have set one default carrier for all zones of shipping and then assigned for default carriers each zone different price. There is no problem anymore – only issue is I would like to add expensive fast shipping methods – like dhl , but as soon I create carrier which is not default carrier(if more then one carrier total) problem returns. Another possible issue could be cache. Can you try to temporary disable all caches to see if it helps? I played with options in CCC (Combine, Compress and Cache) section and Smarty section in BO performance.... but there is section Ciphering and Caching I never dared to modify.
