Help with modules.

Hi guys, i got a problem on my website it was 99% done, but something happen.. i decided to install a new module but when i did the module screw other modules with JQuery, so i unistalled and delete it and nothing happen, even if i try to re install my good modules nothing happen, is there any way to rollback my website? I think i did ones but i really i don't remember how.. or do i need to delete something in cache? i think the problem is smarty but i don't know.. i don't want to move anything else because maybe my web die.

I assume you are using PrestaShop 1.4x

You can disable cache and force smarty to compile as following

 

- Back Office

- Preferences tab

- Performances tab

 

Smarty force compile: yes, cache: no

 

Cache: No (at bottom of same page)

 

Also you maybe already know,

you can set 'display_errors' to 'on' to show errors on your screen.

Thank your for your Fast Reply. i will use it for the future, but the problem is i want to rollback my website like 1 day or 5 hrs ago hahaha.

 

The web is working, but the modules with JQuery change, example: JQuerySlider has random slide effects, and now there´s only one effect.

If you don't have backup, there is no way to rollback.

PrestaShop does not provide this kind of version management functionality.

 

As best practice, you should make backup frequently if you don't have source version control tools.
