[SOLVED] Installing 1.4.4 - Shop Config - Does this build work?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Okay so I've tried installing the latest version.

I get past the System Configuration and on to the page Shop Configuration.

Click Next - Nothing happens. Play around with the options. Similar story. No error notifications etc.

I've had numerous 1.4.3's work.

Anyone else get this problem?

Thanks

Hi Ricky,

Several people have run into the same roadblock as you, and their suggestion has been to uncheck the option to send emails and then try to continue the installation. Please let me know if that works for you.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Prestashop DID install - however it never progresses to the final - Congratulations! - page. I checked my shop directory after writing this post, and I can confirm that it does work. I think it's probably some buggy php coding in the installation files. I'm using the latest version of Firefox.

Could be an obstacle for a first time user - however if anyone's reading this and has the same problem - see if your shop loads - if so delete 'install' directory and change the name of 'admin' folder. Bingo!

Thanks
