[SOLVED] Fatal error (OrderHistory -> id_order_state is empty)

Hi

 

I hope someone can point me to a solution or the right direction.

 

When checking out with paypal i get the following message in my browser

 

Fatal error (OrderHistory -> id_order_state is empty)

 

PayPal takes the funds, however the order doesn't show in admin nor does the stock reduce and when looking at the customer it says it's an invalid order.

 

Any ideas

I am not sure if your store is upgraded from old version or is new installation.

Maybe the order status data in database is not correctly installed or lost.

For your references, here is the list of Order Status in PrestaShop 1.4.3 with Paypal installed.

 

1 	Awaiting cheque payment
2 	Payment accepted 
3 	Preparation in progress
4 	Shipped 
5 	Delivered 
6 	Canceled 
7 	Refund 	
8 	Payment error
9 	On backorder 
10 	Awaiting bank wire payment 
11 	Awaiting PayPal payment 
12 	Payment remotely accepted 
13 	Authorization accepted from PayPal

 

If the paypal related status is not there, you can added them manually.

Thanks for your reply, I'm on 1.4.4.0 new install, however i have solved the issue (i think, well it all works now as intended)

 

Not sure which of these 2 actions solved it though as i done both.

 

1: Deleted the paypal 2.6 module and installed paypal 2.7 moduls

2: checked the Authorization / Manual Capture (Payment shipping) checkbox instead of Direct (sales) checkbox on the settings screen.

 

it seems to have done the job and all is working

 

posting as solved because someone else will bound to have the same problem at some time i guess.
