[SOLVED] Amending url of my website following launch

Recommended Posts

Hi there, I will try and be as clear as possible, please bear with me:

I have recently developed a site for a client and the host gave us an area to develop being http://novatrimmings.sites.server1.netready.biz/

We finished development and the host then set the test site as the main site so that the main url www.novatrimmings.co.uk would show the site.

My problem is that when you go to the correct url it immediately resolves back to the test site location. The site is running fine and the location has no changed but I feel that there may be something quite simple I need to do to stop the site resolving back to the test site location.

I notice in the tools>configuration information in back office that the store url states as URL of your website: http://novatrimmings.sites.server1.netready.biz/ and it is likely this that I need to change but I am afraid that I dont know how to do this.

Hope I have been clear and if anyone could advise it would be most helpful.

Best wishes : Dom

Hi all.. anyone know an answer to this... I am totally stuck in that I cant find where to edit the url in the ps_conf file in the database ...

In back office > tools > config info it states...

Store information

URL of your website: http://novatrimmings.sites.server1.netready.biz/

Theme name used: prestashop

This is clearly the part I am trying to change.

Any help / advice would be much apreciated as I am sure it is just a simple thing I am overlooking. Many thanks in advance. Best wishes : Dom
