wendy@abc
In a desperate panic here! I can't log in to the back office and my shop has gone missing! I have checked with my webhost and it says something about a cloud server has disabled access. What have I done? Help, please! Wendy

wendy@abc
Ok, my webhost has managed to retrieve both back office and front office. However, there are quite a few elements (modules) missing. Site has been restored to an earlier point in time, but missing elements have not returned. The live edit is also now showing a technical error. My main concern is that the cart block and all the add to cart buttons are missing, as well as the add to wishlist. My webhost is saying it is a problem with my site and I should contact the designer - haha - after last night's royal screw up, she's been sacked!! (It's me, by the way!) Has anybody any ideas what I can do? I'm getting really upset now. Everything was working fine until about 2am.......I thought I would be ready to go live this weekend. I'm almost scared to touch anything! Wendy

wendy@abc
Hi Wendy, Can you please post your URL so that we can check this out for you? Thanks, Mike Thank you Mike, I'm so tired now, I don't know which way to turn! Site is not live, but I will enable it for you. You will see down the right hand side, that quite a lot is missing, but I'm more worried about the cart block and the buttons! My Shop

Mike Kranzler
Hi Wendy, I'm trying to find a solution for you, but for some reason, your site doesn't show up on any of our computers here. However, it does show up on my phone's browser, so I've been looking at it there. Honestly, it looks very nice, even on my phone. Which modules are you still missing, exactly? -Mike

He went and had a look. Are you ready for this........(I'm so embarrassed)(and so sorry!). In my panic, I had clicked Catalog to on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So shopping functions were disabled! Have no idea why I did that.....was really tired though! Feel like such a dimwit now. Everything seems to be working again. I have promised BiL, I will try and sleep at night and not fiddle with my shop anymore! I still have some bits and pieces missing - had bought an add block module - but I think they just require a bit of fiddling to get them to show. Oops, said I wouldn't fiddle any more - hehe! I wonder why the shop isn't showing on your computers? Thank you for the compliment - I know it's pretty basic - I have no design or coding skills, so can't do much more. My BiL introduced me to Prestahop and I love it! I hadn't even made a banner before now, so everything has been a pretty steep learning curve, with lots of crises in between! Thank you so much for all your help! Will mark topic as solved, although I don't think anybody could possible be as stupid as me!!

Mike Kranzler
Hi Wendy, Don't be embarrassed, I'm not a programmer either, and I'm no stranger to sleep deprivation either. I'm just glad we were able to help you solve this, and we're glad to have you here on the forums and using PrestaShop. We really love it when non-programmers/designers create their own storefronts, because that tells us we're doing something right in terms of making the software accessible for all. If you have any additional questions, you know where to find me -Mike
wendy@abc
Aw, Mike (and Mark) - thank you so much for your kindness and patience! I always want to run before I can walk and get frustrated when I don't understand things! I was so upset earlier on, as I thought I had lost everything! I'm currently on holidays and have been working into the early hours to try and go live before I go back to work - was so excited that I was nearly there and so cross with myself for doing stupid things! Prestashop has an amazing look and although I've nearly given in a few times, I've loved creating my store! It has really helped having my BiL at the end of a phone (even tho' he's in Wales). He recommended the forums and the bug tracker and both have been so useful. Thanks again, Mike.
