Basix101 Posted July 28, 2011 Share Posted July 28, 2011 I was having trouble at step 3 installing Prestashop 1.4.3 on Wampp version 2.1. This worked. I downloaded Firefox and ran the setup from there. The only change I made from trying to install it on IE was to put the database host as root and no passwords (so that may work for install on IE). It may work just as well if you put localhost and a password when installing with Firefox too? I was just so fed-up after 2 hours of trying to install it with IE I thought the first run with Firefox I would leave the host as root and leave out the passord. least I have it up and running.
