Officer Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 Hello, I am facing a problem when sending out an email from my shop. I am using Godaddy for the hosting. The problem is: The email is taking a very long time to arrive. For instance, if someone purchases something he won't get an invoice on his email before 15 or possibly 20 minutes. Same applies to other features in Prestashop that involves sending an email. In the backoffice I do have the "Use PHP Mail() function" checked and not the SMTP option. Can you please assist with this issue. One other related question is: In the Backoffice, under Preferences->Email, How do we configure the email address for "Customer Service" and "Webmaster". shokinro Posted July 25, 2011 Share Posted July 25, 2011 You need to talk to your service provider for the email delay. It has nothing to do with PrestaShop itself. One other related question is: In the Backoffice, under Preferences->Email, How do we configure the email address for "Customer Service" and "Webmaster". So far, I don't know what these emails are!
