JanB
NOTE: This was posted in the Using Prestashop area of the forum, but I received no responses, so I'm posting here too.I am sorry if this has been addressed somewhere else, but I was unable to find it.I am on vs 1.4.2.5.I would like for a customer to be able to checkout with $0 amount for downloadable products. I am using Paypal, and I go to checkout, I enter my customer info (I want my customer to create an account), and when I enter in my login info, I end up back at the home page.In preferences->products – I have 0 on Minimum purchase total … -which says a 0 disables the feature, so how can I have a checkout and email of downloadable product for $0?Thanks. shokinro
You should be able to add $0 (free) products and downloadable product.what you need to do is just set the price to 0 and tick off the "Is product downloadable"once you tick off the "Is product downloadable",there are afew fields you need to fill in.after that it should works.if you your cart are all free and virtual products(downloadable), it does not goes to payment. It is automatically controlled by PrestaShop.

JanB
Well I guess I have a problem. I recently upgraded my store to 1.4.2.5 and I don't get a download email now for free or paid products. I get the other 2 emails. The products are marked downloadable and the files exist on the product record. Is there someplace I can look for an error like in an error file somewhere? Thanks for any and all help! JanB
Yes the invoice links are there and the files download, no problem. I had already checked the mails directory - the 2 files exist and the permissions are 644.I saw something on another post where the issue was Paypal API settings were missing. I don't understand what that would have to do with the emails, but I checked and my API settings are there. Is there a file containing the errors somewhere? Maybe an error is being generated. Also, I have not figured out where the emails are generated from. Can someone help with that? Maybe I can put some echo's in or something.
